I figure it was my being a computer nimrod. Where is my nine year old nephew when I need him?? I have that electrical aura that stops the best Casio watches and makes the Timex auto winders over-wind.
I got accepted by my gun club. Went out shooting my Tantal and got the barrel broke in with repeated cleanings and sort of sighted in the ball park. I had a great time and happy to report that the rifle performed flawlessly for 200+ rounds.
The side folder is a little short so I installed a Tapco composite side folder and it fits like an old shoe now. Will get back to the range soon. Pics are stuck in there somewhere. I'll send them when they show up again.

Waiting on gun club to approve me. Put on my happy face and went to an interview but they have to bring my name up to see if anyone rejects me. Tried to post a pic of a gun that had been over accessorized but it didn't take. Want to try to keep mine lean and mean with just a hologram sight for my old eyes. LOL

I'm glad you decided to join us. Tantals are an excellent AK variant from the Polish who are known for their quality guns. Have you had a chance to meet with your gun club yet?

From NW Ohio. New to the forum and AK's. Retired but still working. I have a fab shop at home. I have been a dragrace crewchief on a pro team, mechaniced for a big city fire dept for 30 years and drove over the road for a time. Just got a Tantal and joined a gun club. Looks like a fun gun.  Friday1  I like fast cars and fast bikes. Won't do this to my new Tantal
