   I came to the AK Weapons Platform out of a desire for an affordable self-defense rifle that packed a bigger punch than a twenty caliber. I also needed it to be able to perform without recommended maintenance, if necessary, as well be versatile enough to be useful for any number of situations beyond self defense.

   
   

   When I was introduced to the AK, I've been hooked ever since.
